Cancellation Policy:
Making Connections Together understands the complexity of working with vulnerable people in our community and the following are our cancellation terms.
Making Connections Together requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you are cancelling your appointment. If less than 24 hours’ notice there will be a cancellation fee equivalent to half the hourly fee and if no notification of cancellation then the full hourly fee will be charged.
Mandated Reporting Policy:
Making Connections Together is a mandated reporter under the Children and Young Peoples ACT 2008 and the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) - Code of Ethics 2010. Before we make the report we will discuss our concerns with you and if there is a need to make a report we will walk you through the process with the child protection agency
Risk Management Policy
Making Connections Together are required to assess the safety of any environment that our workers may be attending. We will talk you through our risk assessment template during the first home visit.
If you have any concerns in relation to the risk assessment being conducted please don't hesitate to discuss this on your first contact with us.
