Making Connections Together (also known as MCT) has been open since 7 July 2015 and is owned and run by Michel Hansen (BSocWK MAASW Acc.)
Michel has a wealth of knowledge & experience. Michel is an AASW Accredited Social Worker
Making Connections Together has been a vision of Michel's since 2012 with the aim of supporting vulnerable people within the community. With the advent of the NDIS, Michel saw a way of expanding the business model.
Michel welcomes all members of the community as clients and is able to work with anyone and not only with NDIS Participants.
Michel is a strong believer in ongoing learning and will continue to attend training each year (as per AASW Guidelines for Accredited Mental Health Social Workers - minimum of 70 hours per year) Michel has interests in Transcultural Mental Health and supporting the LGBTIQ community.
Michel offers natural therapies options as a holistic approach to the practice, these include Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT), Reiki, Essential Oils and a Drumming Circle.
